Yup that would be me, had been a fan for many years and that 4/29/71 show was "it" for me but because of college, working and maybe overall laziness is seeing concerts at that point in my life, my first show was not until June of 95. I wish I could say I got on the bus in 71 or 72 but I was not even alive until 72, so by the time the eighties were going on I was into heavy metal and that genre (still love it) but Spring of 1991 was when that tape was given to me and it instantly hooked me. I guess maybe some could say I was not a true head until I saw a show in 95 but I guess I would disagree with that! I think I go on the "bus" as a 19 yr old college student and never got off. Now I have my kids into the dead but I am sure that will change as they hit adolescence!
